MAP FOR FIELD EVENTS

**Updated 05/02/2017**

Tracking

Field events are going to be held on private land in Springboro, PA.  There are actually three different sites available, within about 2 miles, and we will not know which stake will be at which site until the events take place.  There will be two days of field events.  Saturday, May 13 will be Hunt Test day with Junior, Senior and Master Hunter offered.  And Sunday will be Working test day with WC and WCX offered.  Springboro is about 35 miles from Erie, PA so people may choose to stay there or to stay closer.

Hotels:

The Green Roof Inn, 8790 Route 18, Girard, PA., 814-774-7072.  This is a small privately owned motel on a large parcel of land.  They offer special rates for dog events, waive the pet fee, and love having dogs stay.  This is a very comfortable place with exits from each room with a lot of exercise room for dogs!  This motel is often used by the people coming to run agility at Countryside Agility and so is often booked way in advance.  There will be an agility trial during the field weekend so if you are interested in this motel, book early as the agility people will!

The Red Roof Inn – Erie, 7865 Perry Highway, Erie, PA., 814-868-5246.  This is a typical red roof except that it has a special rate for dog events.  It is used to playing host to dogs running agililty at Countryside Agility which is about 5 miles away.  And it is about 30 miles from the field events.  If you are running the field events or running agility at the three day all breed trial which precedes our trial, or just running at our trial, this would be a great place to stay.  It is close to almost eveyrthing in Erie, has plenty of dog walking area, and is quite comfortable.  However, it is close to a casino so I would advise booking early.  To get the dog event rate, give them this number, 619-039 when you book.

The Days Inn, 7415 Schultz Road, Meadville, PA., 814-337-4264.  This is probably the closest motel to the field events.  And they are willing to save a block of rooms for us at a special price, $79 a night.  Our events are the same weekend as  Allegeny College's graduation so that was really nice of them.  If you want a room here, tell them you belong to the Hill Group and you will get a room at this special price.  This offer is good until April 18th.

The Microtel Inn – Erie, 8100 Peach Street, Erie, PA 814-864-1010 takes dogs.  Microtel Inns are pleasant motels which take dogs but all rooms open into interior corridors.

La Quinta, 7820 Perry Highway, Erie, Pa., 814-864-1812.  La Quinta's are also pleasant motels which take dogs but again all rooms open into interior corridors.

Meadville Pa KOA, 25164 State Rd 27, Meadville, PA 16335. Info 814-789-3251. Reservations 800-562-0813. Opens April 21.
